Nuura’s Liila Muuse lamp is a delightfully versatile luminaire that can be mounted either on the ceiling or wall. Created by the award-winning Danish lighting designer Sofie Refer, the Liila lamps comprise round, mouth-blown glass globes with robust yet graceful metal bodies. In the Liila Muuse lamp, the glass globe is surrounded by a gracefully asymmetrical, wavy backplate with references to Copenhagen’s Tivoli amusement park as well as the ornate ceiling embellishments of historic houses.
