Yaxell Takehisa knives usually features 211-layer Damascus blade with geometric pattern and beautiful black beech Pakka Wood handle with traditional Japanese Samurai family crest. The cutting core is made of special Micro-Carbide powder steel ZDP189, which could reach extremely high hardness ‒ 66 Rockwell, enables to take and hold a particularly well cutting performance. Four Japanese Kanji characters are hand-engraved on the front side of the blade which means“ Takehisa, the Samurai Spirit.

During production, Yaxell knives go through a very stringent process in which the blade is heated in a kiln at extreme temperatures, then ice hardened before it’s placed in high heat a second time to ensure the blade is durable, strong, and guaranteed to offer top long-lasting performance. This type of special production process also makes the knife’s blade corrosion-resistant.
