Description
HOWE’s Munkegaard chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen, is an easily recognizable classic from 1955. Also known as Mosquito, the chair has a distinctive curved seat made of bent veneer, and the slender legs are made of steel. The expression is both simplistic and strong at the same time.
Jacobsen originally designed the Munkegaard range for the Danish Munkegaard school, and since then, the chairs have found their way into homes, offices, restaurants and hotels around the world.
