HAY’s Pyramid coffee table, originally designed by Wim Rietveld for Ahrend in the 1950s, was reintroduced in 2017 through a collaboration between HAY and Ahrend. The sleek and round Pyramid coffee table 51 is ideal for placing next to a sofa or an armchair.
Featuring angular steel frames and sturdy wooden tops, the Pyramid collection embodied the cutting-edge steel design of the 1950s and has maintained its timeless appeal ever since. Over the decades, these pieces have become familiar fixtures in both public spaces and private homes. The reissued furniture by HAY now uses an eco-friendly water-based lacquer.
