Marset’s Konoha wall lamp has a lot to offer for any space: in addition to its sympathetic appearance, it is undeniably practical in providing both ambient lighting as well as more precisely oriented illumination. It all depends on which way you point the directed spotlight that turns through 360 degrees! For atmospheric general lighting, point the spot upwards and the light bounces off the hat-like top and spreads gently around the luminaire. When pointed any other way, the spotlight makes it especially delightful to spend time with, say, your favourite piece of prose.
Based in North America, the design studio Yabu Pushelberg – designers George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, that is – focuses on storytelling and evoking emotions. When designing the Konoha lamp, the duo thought long and hard about how lighting affects our experience of the character of a space. Having designed products and interiors for world-class hospitality projects, the duo has ensured that Konoha also fits into the intimate settings of private homes anywhere around the globe.
