Description
Louis Poulsen’s VL Ring Crown 5 pendant is a masterpiece by Vilhelm Lauritzen from the 1940s. The striking chandelier features a brass frame that patinates slowly over time, and three-layered opal glass shades that fill the space with a soft and warm light.
Relaunched in 2019, the Ring Crown family consists of wall lamps, pendants and chandeliers developed by Lauritzen in the 1940s for the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen. Lauritzen aimed at creating a beautiful, easy-maintenance lamp that would provide both, direct downward light and a soft glow to the sides.
