Ornäs’ Rialto is a sculptural lounge chair originally designed by Carl-Gustaf Hiort af Ornäs for the Milan Triennale in 1957. As is characteristic of his design, every inch and corner of the chair is carefully considered, with charming details hidden in unexpected places. The Rialto armchair has a beautiful leather backrest that invites you to place the chair in the centre of the room so it can be admired from the front and the back. The curved back legs are carved from a single piece and add a sense of line and balance to the chair’s look. The Rialto lounge chair is handcrafted in Finland.
