Description
The Workshop chair, designed by Cecilie Manz for Muuto, is a charming combination of traditional craftsmanship, contemporary design and beautiful details. The name Workshop refers to the design process that took place at Manz’s Copenhagen studio: sketches were transformed into full-scale models over the course of only a few weeks. The chair has a round veneer back that creates a pleasant contrast with the sturdy, solid wood frame and its sharp edges. Workshop makes a great dining chair for both domestic and public environments.
In 2020 Muuto changed the chairs’ finish to a more environmentally-friendly, water-based lacquer. Please note that, as a result, the hue of the chairs is slightly different than before.
