Description
Tonfisk Design’s Utu is a pendant lamp designed by Brian Keaney, with a look dominated by organic shapes and the eternal play of light and shadow. The Utu luminaire does not have an actual dome but is surrounded by a slightly undulating porcelain ring, which changes the appearance of the luminaire depending on the direction from which it is viewed. The porcelain ring is handcrafted, and so each luminaire is unique in its shape. Thanks to its variable appearance, the Utu pendant is an endlessly fascinating luminaire both alone and in a row or cluster of several lamps.
Tonfisk Design recommends an antique or vintage style filament bulb with a diameter of 95 mm and a height of 145 mm as the lamp’s light source. The Utu pendant light is made in Finland.
