Crack two fresh eggs into this poacher and either hang it from the edge of a pan of boiling water or sit it on the base of the pan to poach. Lift the poacher out when the egg is cooked; any water will drain easily away through the holes in the bottom. You can also use your poacher to boil eggs in the same way.
