Description
The Basalt Single luminaire consists of an irregular hexagonal pendant, made of lost-wax casted steel, that is complemented by an elongated, similarly angular bulb whose frosted matte surface softens the light in a gentle, pleasant manner. Designed to display and underline its manufacturing methods, the luminaire’s lost-wax casted, textured finish has not been polished on its vertical sides. Additionally, the spot where the molten metal entered the mould is covered by a Tala logo as a subtle nod to the casting technique used.
