The Pilke Signature 20/42 pendant by Pilke Lights provides an atmospheric glow to any space. As you might have guessed by the luminaire’s name, the Pilke 20/42 pendant light has a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 42 cm. The elongated form is ideal for staircases and rooms with high ceilings either as a single illuminator or in a cluster of several pendants – a modern alternative for a chandelier!
Pilke 20/42 is part of the simple yet ornamental Pilke Signature Collection designed by Tuukka Halonen. Crafted from birch plywood, the Pilke luminaires are an enchanting combination of technology and tradition: Halonen sought influences for the design from traditional Finnish wood crafts but utilized today’s manufacturing methods and materials. As a contemporary interpretation of shingle work, the lamps are characterised by a crystal-like pattern that filters the light pleasantly and casts beautiful shadows on the walls and ceiling. All Pilke lamps are designed and handcrafted in Finland.
