Woud’s Slalom step stool playfully combines a winding, black steel frame with sturdy steps made of white-lacquered oak. This easily movable, multifunctional stool is perfect as a reaching aid in the kitchen, a minimalist nightstand table in the bedroom, or as a plant stand in a living area.
The name and curvy frame of the Slalom stool are inspired by designer Qian Jiang’s skiing trip to Northern Sweden. The founder of Stockholm-based Studio Dejawu, the Chinese-born Jiang ingeniously merges Chinese and Scandinavian design traditions in his creations.
