Description
Karakter’s Plexi pendant light blurs the fine line between utilitarian functionality and artful expression. Designed by Italian sculptor and designer Angelo Mangiarotti, the luminaire was originally a coveted collector’s piece dating back to 1962 but has now found its rightful place in Karakter’s collection.
Made of clear acrylic plastic, the tubular Plexi pendant shines light along its entire length and casts a soft, inviting glow from its sandblasted lower end, too. The luminaire charms the viewer with its delicate appearance, which is even more striking if you place several Plexis in a shiny cluster in a living room or dining room. The Plexi pendant light is a great addition to public spaces as well, from hotels to restaurants and offices.
