Marimekko’s Palko cotton fabric is adorned with the Palko pattern designed by Maija Louekari. Inspired by pea pods, the graphic shapes of Palko, Finnish for “pod”, form evenly undulating stripes. True to Marimekko’s design tradition, the Palko pattern is boldly distinctive and gently organic at the same time.
Printed in Helsinki, Finland, this unbleached cotton fabric is perfect for various types of sewing projects, such as tablecloths or curtains.
