Description
Carl Hansen & Søn’s CH22 lounge chair is one of the first masterpieces that Hans J. Wegner designed for the Danish company in 1950. The chair’s solid wood frame is composed of curved, skillfully jointed pieces complemented by a wide backrest and a handwoven paper cord seat. The sophisticated design, perfect proportions and numerous fine details make the CH22 chair an extraordinary armchair, and its flowing silhouette looks equally amazing from any angle.
The CH22 lounge chair was out of production for several decades until Carl Hansen & Søn started producing it again in 2016. The chair is still handcrafted in Denmark based on Hans J. Wegner’s original drawings.
