Description
The Essence plate from Iittala adds a touch of timeless Nordic beauty to any table setting. Made from dark grey glass with an embossed decoration on the bottom, the plate makes for a lovely serving plate for appetisers and snacks. Due to its practical size, the plate can also be used as a starter or dessert plate.
The glass plate is part of Iittala’s minimalist Essence collection, designed by Alfredo Häberli, that was originally launched in 2001. Back then, Häberli’s idea was to create a compact series of glasses that could be used in multiple situations and settings. In 2021, the range was expanded with equally multifunctional serving dishes that are easy to combine with the original Essence glassware as well as other Iittala tableware. Elegant yet functional, both the glasses and the serving dishes are perfect for the modern way to set the table where the same dishware is used in the everyday as well as special occasions.
