Fredericia’s Ana extension dining table is a versatile piece of Danish design by Arde Design Studio, suitable for the dining room, home office or conference room, for example. The timeless look of the dining table hides a clever secret: the table features a handy butterfly extension mechanism that allows the table to be extended to almost or over three metres – so there’s plenty of room for a surprise guest or two! When the table is in its normal size, the same mechanism provides practical storage space for various small treasures. In the kitchen, it holds cookbooks and recipe books; in the home office, important papers and magazines can be stored under the table.
The Ana dining table is made of durable solid oak. The surface is coated with a stain and scratch-resistant nanolaminate, making it easy to keep clean and tidy even during the wildest dinner parties. The Ana table’s appearance is given a touch of quirkiness by its legs, which have a slight angle providing a pleasing contrast to the otherwise clean and sleek design language of the table.
