The Forcina chair combines a simple steel tube frame with beautiful, natural ash wood. The lightweight chair is stackable and its metal frame extends beyond the backrest, forming a practical handle to make it easy to move around. Forcina is perfect for a variety spaces from homes to restaurants and cafes.
Mattiazzi’s Forcina collection is named after the Italian word for hairpin, which is a purely functional object. However, despite its small size and invisible nature, a bobby pin often plays a crucial role in creating a variety of elaborate hairdos. This is also the idea of Forcina – although the furniture is feminine and delicate, it is first and foremost practical. The Forcina collection is designed by Leon Ransmeier.
